First Artificial Insemination Class

Yesterday was my very first class of learning how to AI cattle! We got to practice on several reproductive tracts of cattle that had been slaughtered. I can't wait to continue these classes!

Shorthorn Plus Bull of SLF Miss Layla. Birthdate: December 29, 2013. He is sired by Abertees the Professor. 

Shorthorn Plus Bull of one of our commercial cows, Rosie. Birthdate: December 31, 2013. He is sired by Starburst.

La-a (Ladasha)

La-a is my newest commercial calf that was raised on our farm. She was born in October 2011 and she is a very gentle calf.

Layla

Layla is my new Shorthorn Plus that I recently purchased. She is a September calf that is a half sister to Cotton Top Rose.
